Just imagine you boarding a flight and then you eventually find your assigned seat. You place your luggage in the overhead compartment bin and before you can sit down the lady that’s scheduled to sit next to you throughout the flight begins singing this very song.
“Meet and Greet…Meet and Greet…check a bag, catch a flight, then have a seat. Pull your seat back without a care…Your way up……..35,000 feet in the airrrrrrrrrr”
Right there at the very moment, you just know it’s going to be a long flight. Just as the flight attendant wraps up her routine emergency speech, the lady sitting next to you picks up right where she left off. This time with a much louder distinctive voice.
“Meet and greet…Meet and greet…Catch a flight, Safely land without missing a beat. We will meet down in baggage claim….we’ll have a sign displaying your name, highly likely you’ll never feel the same.”
Since your sitting in the 15th row, you could see all the passengers ahead of you turning backwards with a strange look on their face, like who is this lady, and why is she singing about Meet and Greet? As the pilots voice comes over the intercom, every passenger on board shifts their attention away from “the singing lady”, and to the captain. The pilot politely introduces himself, and informs everyone about the possible expected turbulence, and the weather conditions in Pittsburgh. Immediately right after the pilot wraps up his announcement, “the singing lady” is at it again!!!

And then out of nowhere a kid sitting directly behind you, gets up out of his seat, puts his hands in the air, and says “AND BOOK A ROUND TRIP AND YOUR ALL DONE!!!” His mother became very upset and quickly sat him down. The next thing you know each passenger on the plane had their seats pulled back, and began singing the meet and greet song…..including yourself!!
